Beacon TV
The Beacon TV app icon

Your TV provider, at home on the Mac.

Beacon TV plays the live channels, films and series from the IPTV service you already pay for, in a player built for macOS.

Coming soon to the Mac App Store. Requires macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.

Bring your own channels. Beacon TV doesn't include, sell or recommend any content. It plays what your provider gives you: sign in with your Xtream Codes account or open an M3U playlist, and only use services you have the right to watch.

What it does

Everything from your provider in one place, arranged the way a Mac app should be.

Live TV with a guide
Channels by category, what's on now and next, and a full programme grid from your provider's guide or any XMLTV address.
Films and series pages
Posters, descriptions, cast and trailers, with seasons and episodes that remember where you stopped.
Streams that recover
A frozen or dropped stream is reopened on its own, and the status panel tells you whether the provider, your connection or your Mac is the cause.
Downloads
Keep films and whole seasons on your Mac for the plane. Downloads wait while you're watching, because most providers allow one connection.
Several sources
Add more than one account or playlist and search across all of them at once. Favourites survive every refresh.
Private by design
Your sign-ins stay in your Keychain and your library stays on your Mac. No account, no tracking, no ads. Read the privacy policy.
